THIS OCTOBER
At The Mutton
Here sits our mutton-eating King,
Who’s word no man relies on.
He never says a foolish thing.
And never does a wise one.
We’re so excited to welcome ewe!
You may not know it if you’re new here, but The Mutton has a lot of heritage and has always echoed with style.
When it closed, we had a vision: to bring it back to the warm, inviting pub it once was, serving creative seasonal dishes alongside the more traditional pub classics & with a good selection of perfectly kept cask ales, craft beers, delicious cocktails as well as an extensive wine list.
We’re so excited to welcome you and feel sure you will be pleasantly surprised by what awaits you.
There is still so much to do, and whilst we do, keep your eyes peeled for all updates via our newsletter! Our Head Chef Rob Boer has plenty up his sleeve and we can’t wait to showcase his menu, with each delicious dish bursting with flavour!

We’re going to be drinking these wines non-stop:
2018 Cabernet Franc, Terroir Hunter, Undurraga, Valle de Maipo, Chile
2016 Barolo Ascheri, Michel Riverdito, Piedmont, Italy – a fine example of Nebbiolo with a few years of bottle age drinking beautifully.
And shaking a lot of our Mutton Marys – made with our own spice mix, lime & horseradish, creating a deliciously balanced Mary!
And lastly, a beautifully bright beer from Andwells Brewery.
So get yourself ready and we’ll see you soon!
