Our Crowning Glory
Come those warmer days, there is nowhere we would rather be than in the sunshine with a drink in a pub garden. So we have been busy creating our very own beautiful garden which we truly believe is the jewel in our crown. It’s the perfect place to meet friends and family for a bite to eat, a lazy lunch, a Sunday roast, or just a tipple, we can’t wait to welcome ewe!
Our garden opens on May 6th, in time for the Coronation Weekend, The Great British Weather allowing. We will be taking reservations for the weekend, should we be unlucky with the weather, we will ensure there is a table inside the pub waiting for you.
We will offer a new Spring menu featuring the best of local produce including nibbles and classics, such as our now famous Mutton ‘Shepherds’ Pie, and new additions to the menu such as a delectable Grilled Slow Cooked Shoulder of Mutton, or a luscious Confit Chalk Stream Trout.

Our garden will be ready to welcome you throughout the Bank Holiday weekend for tipples and delicious food!
Rob in the kitchen and the team at the bar have crafted a few specials so you can toast the King and celebrate like royalty!
