January At The Mutton

This winter, we are celebrating individuality — and how this translates to winter wellness in our pub.

For one person, a quiet half pint at lunchtime is winter wellness; for another, a gathering-together of loads of friends on a Friday evening with food and wine flowing is winter wellness, others instead could crave a healthier meat free dish on a Monday but by Saturday they are ready for an indulgent brunch.

Our pub is the ideal spot to retreat to this winter.

ON THE PLATES

This January sees the return of our Prix Fixe menu, served Wednesday to Friday
from midday-2:30pm & 5:30pm – 6:45pm.

IN THE BOTTLE

The Rhône Valley has been a hub of wine culture since ancient times and is just as popular today. Join us at The Mutton to explore this superb region glass by glass. After all, as they say: “There’s no place like Rhône.”

IN THE GLASS

Warm Apple Pie.

Sweet apple and aniseed with a good hit of cinnamon. This cocktail is light and refreshing and perfect to sip by the fireplace!

EVENTS

On Wednesday 25th January we will be hosting a classic Scottish Burns Supper along with a wee dram or two of Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch in celebration of Scotland’s most loved poet.

We will start our 4-course dinner with Smoked Haddock Chowder, followed by Scallops and Haggis, to which will follow Homemade Black Pudding and Romesco – and to top it all off, Honey Parfait with Aberfeldy Jelly and Toasted Oats.
