Head Chef Rob Boer and his team have been hard at work creating beautiful menus to celebrate the upcoming Valentine’s Day, whilst also recognising one of our fabulous suppliers – The Woodland Pig Co. – with a dedicated Wine Dinner in March.

IN THE BOTTLE
Origen De Resalte – Ribero del Duero is a powerful, firm and elegant wine, made from the Tempranillo grape, grown in the Ribero del Duero region of Spain.
The nose is full of ripe red fruit, with hints of spice and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is smooth and velvety, with a long finish of dark chocolate and tobacco. This is a wine with a bold and complex flavour profile to be enjoyed with grilled meats or rich stews.

The Woodland Pig Co. Dinner
Helen and Matt founded The Woodland Pig Co., a small scale, welfare-led farm in North-East Hampshire, to exercise their dedication to quality ingredients. On the farm, the couple produce exceptional, native breed, free-range pork, whilst passionately improving pig welfare standards and the environment.
Given Rob’s passion for using the highest quality ingredients, we are delighted to work with The Woodland Pig Co. at The Mutton.
To celebrate this relationship, Rob has created a 6-course seasonally led menu which pays homage to the outstanding quality of pork, considerately incorporated into each dish. Alongside the menu, a wine pairing menu will be available on the evening to perfectly compliment every dish.
