Autumnal Changes at The Mutton

We hope this email finds you well and in high spirits as the vibrant colours of autumn paint our surroundings. We’re excited to share some wonderful news and upcoming events at The Mutton, following a wonderful anniversary week of celebrations in October.

As the leaves fall and the air turns crisp, we’re all set to embrace the charm of the season, and we want you to be a part of it!

This month, nature bestows upon us a bountiful harvest of winter squash, kale, pumpkins, ceps and carrots.

Tuesday Openings

Starting from the 31st of October, we are thrilled to extend our opening hours to include Tuesdays, making it easier than ever for you to enjoy the cosy atmosphere and delicious dishes throughout the week.

Our seasonally-led Set Menu offers a beautiful selection of dishes at a set price for two or three courses. 

2-courses for £21 or 3-courses for £25
Tuesday – Friday | Midday – 2:15 & 5:30 – 6:30

Autumn Menu Inspired by the Season

Our autumn menu showcases the very best of seasonal ingredients. From hearty Sunday Roasts with seasonal vegetables to decadent desserts featuring plums and pears, each dish is a celebration of the season’s bounty.

“The Irish Bakery” Coffee Morning
Thursday 9th November, 10am – 12pm

Join us on for “The Irish Bakery” Coffee Morning – an unforgettable book event and coffee morning to support the launch of “The Irish Bakery,” a delightful Irish recipe book written by our good friend (and proud mother of Felix, a much-loved member of The Mutton team!), Cherie Denham, with stunning photography by Andrew Montgomery.

Hear directly from Cherie and Andrew about the inspirations behind their beautiful book, immerse yourself in the rich tradition of Irish baking, and sample a few of Cherie’s recipes for yourself!

Soft drinks, tea & coffee can be bought separately, and a limited selection of bakes from Cherie will be available to try – join us early to make sure you don’t miss tasting “The Irish Bakery” for yourself.

Christmas at The Mutton

We are taking bookings for the festive season.

Join us for yuletide feasts, warm mulled wine, and joyful gatherings. Our cozy atmosphere and seasonal decorations create the perfect backdrop for Christmas celebrations.

Wreath-Making Workshop with Blossom & Wild
Saturday 2nd December 10am – 12pm

Join us for a delightful & festive morning of wreath-making at The Mutton, hosted by local florists Blossom & Wild. With a maximum of just 12 participants, this exclusive event offers the perfect opportunity to explore your creative talents whilst immersing yourself in a wonderful Christmas activity – the result to take home and proudly hang on your own front door. 

Guided by the skilled floral artists of Blossom & Wild, you will craft your own exquisite wreath using a variety of seasonal greens, blossoms and decorations. Price includes use of all wreath-making materials, tea & coffee.

£80 per person.
